Using Smart Motion Detection (SMD) allows you to detect persons or vehicles in low-density regions without having to create rules or draw boundaries. We will help enable this feature for humans or motor vehicles with just one click via the web interface, without complicated configuration.
When a person, non-motorized vehicle, or motor vehicle appears on the image and moves at a speed that exceeds the system’s threshold, an alarm is activated. Smart motion detection is enabled by default, so disabling it will stop alarms from going off when the environment changes.
Preparation: open your AI cameras on a monitor and carefully check all accessories (cables) to make sure it will show the main interface.
Step 1: On the monitor, choose to Login to the camera by inputting your username and password. *Hint: when you purchase from Trantech, our qualified technical engineers will always help you set up the login information at the most convenience or ask us before making purchase. Make sure you don’t forget your login information.
Step 2: Now you are logged in. choose AI tab to proceed the configuration.
Step 3: You will be delivered to several features of AI, for this topic, you go to Paramaters, then choose SMD to continue.
Step 4: Now you will see the Enable button. If this button has been disabled (grey colour), Enable it (which makes it turn blue). If this button has been turned on already by default, go straight to Step 5.
Step 5: Next, you will need to check the Effective target and Sensitivity depending on your demand to detect. Sensitivity: includes Low, Middle, and High. The higher the sensitivity is, the easier the alarm will be triggered. Effective target: includes Human and Motor vehicle. When you select Human, the camera will detect human and non-motorized vehicle.
Step 6: Finally, always remember to click Apply, so the system can save all your changes. |
