Project review
Recently, many new developments have taken place in this three-square-kilometer suburb, one of the state’s older but busier suburbs and one of the state’s older but quieter suburbs. As a multicultural community with a high proportion of blue-collar residents, Plumpton is considered to be a wholly detached community, with 87 percent of new property developments, townhouses, and duplexes being classified as such.
Because the existing site has a concrete floor, installers couldn’t run cables in this project due to the concrete floor. Despite the fact that the distance between cameras and network video recorders (NVRs) is more significant than it would be in a typical control room, a comprehensive CCTV system is required to effectively cover and monitor the entire facility.
Also, customers are required to have a stable CCTV system, which allows all residents to feel safe in an elegant, easy-to-care environment. The City of Plumpton has seen a rise in the number of residents who are living alone and need live surveillance. As a result, the CCTV system that was once installed on all streets and roads has been upgraded with wireless technology and is now accessible from anywhere. This increased access to security cameras will help to protect more residences while creating an all-inclusive citizen-friendly feel for Plumpton’s population.
Requirement
- Customers would like a network multi-camera system with ten cameras, one Pro-series network video recorder, and an eight-terabyte hard disk drive, among other things.
- As a result of the geographical distance between all of the individual flats in the area, it is impossible to run cables, so all devices and accessories must communicate with one another wirelessly.
- Because system inspections in residential areas cannot be performed on a daily basis, we must design a security operating system that is both efficient and stable.
Trantech Solution
Various transmission techniques, including a wireless IP system, were utilized by Trantech when it came to transmitting CCTV images across the network, ensuring that the network had the complete coverage required.
Through the use of high-speed domes, it was possible to transmit color images throughout the day without any lag. The lighting conditions in this area are adequate at night, allowing the 24H color cameras to perform admirably in this environment.
In addition, the control system was housed in a solid metal cabinet to ensure the safety of all electronic devices and cables contained within. We make confident that it will be used for a long time.
Therefore, we were qualified for:
WIRELESS REQUIREMENT
We used UBIQUITI wireless control to connect all of the cameras and NVRs on the roof, which allowed us to save time and money. Using this solution, which is highly adaptable and convenient, we were able to effectively address the issues that had been brought to our attention.
READY-TO-USE REQUIREMENT
Before sending any devices or accessories to the customer, we programmed and tested them to ensure that they met our high standards. Increased consumer safety is made possible in a famous way by technological advancements that prevent intrusions into critical areas of operation, depredations, and other occurrences that could prevent passengers from being transported. It is possible to identify and signal motion in a restricted area on a routine basis through the use of video analytics, even when the video surveillance operator is not actively monitoring images captured by the selected camera.
LATE NIGHT REQUIREMENT
A dedicated technical support engineer was also assigned to the project, who traveled to the site and assisted customers with the configuration. Starlight cameras can deliver sharp and colorful images to the surveillance center at any time of day or night, in difficult lighting conditions, or even in lousy light situations. This allows the center to maintain excellent overall performance even in defective light conditions.
